Robin Pierman will present an overview of Social Media – what it is, how it works, and how training professionals are using it.
In this session, participants will learn:
The difference between social media, social learning, and social media learning.
How organizations are incorporating social media learning into their training programs.
How to use social media to increase your own professional development and expand your personal network.

About the presenter:
Robin Pierman, owner of Social Engagementz, LLC, is a professional trainer and coach.
She presents technology workshops and coaches individuals on leveraging social media for marketing. In addition to working with her
direct clients, she is on the faculty of Schoolcraft College’s Department of Continuing Education and Professional Development (CEPD). Robin is also the Director of Social Media for the Greater Detroit Chapter of the American Society
for Training and Development (ASTD). She has presented technology sessions at a number of regional and national conferences.
