GROW to be a Better Coach

Effective coaching is a partnership between the coach and coached. A partnership whose purpose is to facilitate learning, improve performance, and enable learners to create desired results.

It is a way of communicating sincere interest in and involvement with the learning and growth of others. The GROW Model provides a guideline; much like a road map guides a traveler. Its purpose is to guide the coaching conversation to a meaningful and realistic resolution – with the coached being committed to their own outcomes.
