Weaving Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility into learning benefits everyone, and in this presentation by Liz Ervin-Dominguez and Jillian Canode, you’ll learn how. From representation to ensuring everyone is able to access learning, Liz and Jillian offer strategies you can adopt to prevent barriers to education.

Liz Ervin-Dominguez works as a Senior Instructional Designer for BDO, USA. She holds an MA from Western Michigan University in Organizational Learning and Development. With her passion for inclusivity, she is active in leading DEIA groups at work. Through education and thoughtful discussion, Liz hopes to help people identify inclusive, thoughtful, and generous ways of interacting across differences.

Jillian works as an eLearning Developer for BDO, USA. She holds a PhD in Philosophy and Literature from Purdue University, and has taught courses in philosophy, English composition, literature, and women’s and gender studies. She became interested in digital accessibility a few years ago when developing learning for a non-profit organization. Since then, she has become a Certified Professional in Accessibility Core Competencies, and she uses what she’s learned to help her team create learning that is usable by all, regardless of ability or disability.
