Participants will engage in breakout rooms: "What do you notice about the people in your organization during Zoom meetings?"
  • Group will be provided with strategies for setting boundaries with their teams.
  • Group will learn new ways to think about asynchronous communication.
  • Participants will identify what FLOW means for them and how to get into that space with their people.
  • Facilitator will leave time for Q & A at the end of the session

Presenter: Regina Carey, Passion Instigator and a Language Disruptor

Regina has been educating, advocating, and empowering individuals for over 30 years. Her extensive career path started as a special education teacher in the North Carolina school system. From there, she began her work training teachers and serving as the programs coordinator with the UNC School of Education. She served as a learning specialist with the University of Wisconsin Athletic Department and an instructor and coordinator for the Special Education Program and Resource Center for Persons with Disabilities at Michigan State University. She is a former Board Member of the Learning Disabilities Association (LDA) of America and remains active as a Board Member of the Michigan LDA.

The goal of her work is to educate and empower those who are stuck, struggling, and ready for positive change. Regina creates the space and energy for people to do the work of growth, decision- making, and dancing with fear. Her methods focus on moving forward, paying close attention to language, and embracing all that comes with that journey.
