ATD Competency Model: Personal Skills
8:00 am - Opening Remarks
8:10 am - Tony Datema
9:00 am - Speed Networking
Tony walks through life believing that every single person has the power to change their world. Nothing reflects this more than the path he took to get to today. After he earned a degree in Music, he joined the United States Army as an enlisted soldier where he discovered the power of the individual. Returning home to Michigan, he jumped into the Learning & Development world as the only L&D member of a local manufacturing facility.
Currently, Tony spends his time helping leaders in Atlas Molded Products develop a work culture that they are proud of. An absorber of knowledge, he loves to match the change management model he learned in Afghanistan with the coaching methods he learned in Chicago. He tops it all off with a few games and stories he picked up along the way.
It doesn't matter where you are from or where you are today - Tony always supports and defends your ability to get to where you truly want to go. And all of that starts with an empowering question.
