You will be able to choose three of the following sessions to attend when you arrive on June 22.

Civility and Respect in the Workplace
Lisa Corfixsen, Workplace Performance Solutions, Inc.
Studies suggest that even a single, brief uncivil incident can trigger an immediate reduction in people's performance, compromising their ability to perform complex tasks and reducing their creativity.  Even worse, researchers found that even witnesses of incivility showed a reduced ability in solving complex problems and a reduction in productivity.  (Porath, C.L., *Foulk, T., & Erez.,(2015))  Join in our discussion to learn why this is a problem worth solving.

Measuring the Result of OD Initiatives and Training
Deborah Wood, BDR, Inc.
Perhaps too often, Organization Development (OD) initiatives, coaching and training are evaluated because Talent/HR/Workforce Development professionals know evaluation is important, and not because executives and senior leaders are truly looking to the specific results of each initiative to impact strategic objectives.  Let's review some high-impact result-oriented measures and consider how to design, sell, and apply proven and new ways of measurement to various OD/training situations.

Getting Started with AR/VR Development
Matt Kurtin, Innovative Learning Group
When you begin to explore augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) development, you quickly realize it requires learning many new things across several disciplines.  In this round table, Matt Kurtin will show you how to choose the correct programming tools and discuss the pros and cons of various headsets.

Developing a Media Mind
Juston Espinoza, Spectrum Health
Media and training professionals have the same goals: Create engaging content that recipients retain and act upon.  Join us for a high-level look at how media and advertising professionals work to create effective content.  We will also discuss how to apply this process to the training realm to increase the effectiveness of our work.

Why This Company Doesn't Want You to Train Internal Coaches
Tim Cosby, Real Retention and Toni Freeland, Wolverine World Wide
Josh Bersin, Principal and Founder of Bersin by Deloitte, writes, "A coaching culture is the practice that's most highly correlated with business performance, employee engagement, and overall retention.  As tasks become more complex and interdependent, collaboration, teamwork, and relationship building will become more necessary, requiring leaders to become more skilled in coaching."  Tim Cosby, President and CEO of Real Retention, will interview Toni Freeland, Director of Learning and Development, from Wolverine Worldwide as she relates surprising benefits they are seeing as a result of their new coaching initiative.

Fostering Leader Led Change Management - A Case Study at Spectrum Health
Sandi Karman, Spectrum Health
Participants will get an overview of the scope/scale of the work that needed to be done to help lead a large health organization through major change, and the steps that were taken to do that.  They will gain insight into the 4 Principles put into action which guided the work, what successful change management looks like, and some of the lessons learned.  Participants will walk away with tools they can utilize with leaders about their own changes (stakeholder analysis template and ADKAR change process tool).

Designing Learning "Experiences"
Jeff Hoxworth, SDI Consulting
Learning professionals have been designing training events for years. . . but with today's ever-evolving technologies and the proliferation of social media, how do you create learning experiences that extend beyond the classroom and provide "just in time" access to content and peers?  In this session, we will share a few insights and ideas, and provide a forum for participants to share their thoughts and experiences with others.
