Tim Cosby is the President of Empowerment Coaching Network, International, a company that helps companies solve their turnover and retention problems through coaching, training and consulting. Since 2010, ECNI has provided leadership development training for over 750 leaders from companies such as Samaritas, Wedgwood Christian Services, Service Express International, Serve U Success, Davenport University, Hope Network, Metro Health, G & T Industries, Gentex Corp., Innotec, Northwestern Michigan University, Seeds of Promise, Ameriprise Financial, North Kent Community Services, Dan and Maria DeVos Foundation and the RDV Foundation.
Tim also started the Center for Empowerment Coaching in Grand Rapids, and served as their Executive Director from 2012 – 2015. He received his professional coaching certification in 2012 and has served as a trainer and facilitator in over 50 workshops, and provides Mentor Coaching for students in ECNI’s Professional Coaching Program. He co-authored a book on Coaching Based Ministry in 2011 and has published articles for various coaching magazines and organizations. Before entering into coaching he served as Chaplain at Cornerstone University.
In his other life, Tim is a professional Racquetball Instructor and serves as the Director of Racquetball at Riverview Athletic Center. He has lived in Grand Rapids since 1986 with his wife, Diane, and their 4 children and 8 grandchildren.
