How to be an Organizational Anthropologist

Sara Brondsema believes that all people deserve to live and work in a world that celebrates curiosity.  Organizations don't innovate; people do.  How might we nurture curiosity so that it will bloom into breakthrough?  By taking a broken-toothed comb approach to life, she hopes to learn a little about a lot, and a lot about a little.  Sara lives vicariously through herself, collecting experiences--and those never need dusting.

    About the presenter:

Sara started her career in the insurance industry and is now a Learning Consultant at Steelcase, Inc.  This means she can both read an insurance policy and adjust her chair.  She has collected experiences in performance improvement, instructional design and eLearning development.

When she is not helping organizations cultivate curious learners, you can find Sara perfecting the art of gastronomy, bringing home more books than the laws of time will allow her to read, or proving that women, too, can lift weights.  Although she calls Grand Rapids home, her passport is her must-have accessory.
