BRAIN HEALTH AND LEARNING

As brain research brings us new insight into how our brains work, learning professionals have more opportunity than ever to design training in more brain-friendly ways.  In this presentation, we will explore some of the core “pillars” of brain health,  play with some new strategies for application to training design and identify some key take-aways for trainers.

    About the presenter:

    Denise VanEck is the owner of Thought Design in Rockford, MI.  A Learning and Development professional for more than 25 years, Denise has most recently been developing expertise in the convergence of neuroscience and L&D. Prior to owning Thought Design, Denise was the Chief Learning Officer in the Financial Services industry and a principal with an Organizational Development Coaching and Consulting firm based in Baltimore/Washington.  Author of the bestselling Leadership 101, Denise has four adult children and three grandchildren.
