ATD Competency: Performance Improvement

Participants will learn about:

  1. Understand how experiential learning can improve core competencies and enhance workplace performance.
  2. Recognize how a broad collaboration can leverage training budgets
  3. Learn about the team Cohesion model
Experiential Learning has evolved!  Through a unique collaboration and the addition of fresh, exciting content, learning through experience has proven to successfully enhance workforce skills for several Lansing businesses. A panel of participants will share how an innovative approach - developed for Habitat for Humanity -has been effective at improving team cohesion and performance.  Come learn how you can use this model for your own teams or apply it to other competency areas.

About the presenter:
           

Kristine Ranger serves as “Knowledge Navigator” at The Learning Connection, an organizational development firm that specializes in performance consulting and performance measurement.  She is adept at designing and delivering edu-taining interventions and making use of performance measurement systems to advance the value proposition and marketing position of her clientele.

Kristine has entertained audiences across the Midwest for over 25 years.  She was an integral member of the leadership team that designed and implemented the first multi-year, multi-channel “Buy Local” campaign that increased sales of Michigan products by 100%.  Kristine consulted in the development of the MSU Product Center for Agriculture and Natural Resources where she continues to coach entrepreneurs and serve as a guest lecturer for the Ag Innovation Counselor certification process.
